Club Overview

The Pre-PA club is for students interested in pursing a career in the medical field as a Physician Assistant.

Meeting place: Tuesdays in room 140 natural sciences building from 7:30-9:00 P.M.

Fall Semester Meetings:

  • February 16th: Panel of Physician Assistant Students - students speak about life as a PA student and answer questions from the club
  • March 2nd: Suture Workshop - Two Physician Assistants will demonstrate suture techniques to club and students will be able to practice what they've learned on pigs feet with equipment supplied by the club
  • March 23rd: Interviewing and Personal Statement Prep
  • March 30th: CMU presenting on CASPA(Central Application Service for Physician Assistant) and speaking about their program.
  • April 20th: Awards Night! Students from MSU accepted into PA school

Meeting Tuesday, September 22nd: Meet this year’s E-board and get a preview of the exciting events we have planned for this year. Learn about some PA profession basics and get some tips from the E-board. Always wondering what classes and the order to take them?? We’ve got some answers for your questions on coursework. Hope to see you there!

MSU Pre-PA Club is holding their first National PA Week Event this year. National PA Week is Oct. 6th – Oct. 12th, and we’ve got some things planned in honor of this occasion.

Tuesday, Oct. 6th: Wear your Pre-PA Club T-Shirt! Pre-PA Club Meeting – Talk with a PA during PA Week

Wednesday, Oct. 7th: Service event for club members… details coming soon.

Thursday, Oct. 8th: Wear Scrubs to class.

Friday, Oct. 9th: Pre-PA Club Bar Crawl – come and celebrate with other club members… details coming soon.
